Visited this place a couple

Despite it's dark and creepy legends, this cemetery is really quite beautiful. Was a nice place to drive through and visit during the day.

We had parked across the road maybe 1/4- 1/2 mile east in some trees knowing full well parking anywhere near there would immediately alert watchful eyes.

Times back somewhere between '98 and '01. This is when the roofless church still stood.

Once was even ON halloween. Weren't exactly expecting much being a bunch of 19-21 year olds and being several beers into the night.

Kind of a letdown. I went in 2004 but the church had been torn down. Not much to see. But at least I can say I have been to one of the seven gateways to hell.

Was cool and creepy back then but unfortunately (or fortunately) no endless stairs, which or satan sightings.

Not as hellish as it used to be

Kind of cool. Little disappointing since the witch building was torn down, but still kind of cool. Not every day you see one of the seven gates to hell...........

We tried the "legends", trampled around in the church, looked under debris and even well behind the cemetery. Most exciting thing was hiding when the sheriff or any car drove by.
